Paranormal Investigation

Investigators: Duggie, Tracey,Benny, Jayne, Neil and Desmond

Weather: Fine

Time investigation began:8:45pm

We started off by walking tothe path on the right; this took us to a large field.  As we stood about 10 yards in, Neil said hehad seen a white shape, although he could not say whether it was an animal orperson.  To the right of this area Jayne sawa misty shape almost like a thin veil floating along.

We walked diagonally acrossthe field to where a gate was and exited the current field which took us toanother cropped field.  Whilst standingin the corner of this, a heavy/morbid feeling was being picked up.

Tracey became aware of amale gentleman about 54 in age as he presented himself, but yet he looked olderthan this as he stood there.  He wouldhave been about 5ft7” in height and stocky built with dark short hair.  He appeared to be suffering from a hipproblem in the way he walked and on questioning him he explained that his hipbone was well worn from disease and was now mis-shaped.  He walked with a stick and on closerinspection this stick was literally made of a piece of wood with a knot as ahandle.  The stick appeared to be tootall for the man as he seemed to reach up too high to hold it. He said he wasborn in 1900 and died in 1954.  He wastherefore showing himself to us in the same year he died.  When asked why he was there, he replied, “Justcurious” and with that he turned and left us. As we stood there connecting with this spirit Jayne witnessed anothershadow or misty object moving past the entrance to the gate we had come from, but from the other field.

We felt the temperature dropand checked it on the thermometer.  Thetemperature on the ground was 45C and surrounding us was 35C.

We walked back through thegate and made our way back into the other field again. Tracey kept picking upon a small farmstead building with a few cows and sheep, there appeared to betwo women working there.

As we walked from the gatealong a path across the field, Jayne could smell leather and more silhouettes/shadowswere being seen.  A burning in the hipwas being felt by Jayne.

At this point we split intotwo groups; one going diagonally across the field to investigate the shadowsbeing seen in that direction and the other group to continue along the pathtowards the look out tower.

A red light was seen; it waslike a flash and was gone quickly.  Thisappeared to be behind the first group.  Asthe second group arrived at the lookout the words, “Oh, for the day to be over,I feel pain and frustration all at the same time,” were heard.

While the second group hadbeen over by the hedge, Neil had picked up on the word Gibbets and it was feltthat more spirits were taking notice of our presence now as the night began toget darker.

Duggie was told that one ofthe shadows being seen had spied on people and was still doing it now.  It seemed like he was waiting for a sign foraction to do something.  Jayne askedDuggie what he had been spying on.  Thereply was that he was spying on the commotion. He then wandered away.  Desmondfelt like someone had walked through him whilst he stood video recording at thetower.  The floor temperature was now 54C.

The name Sedgerick was givento Jayne as she stood there.  He was a bigbuilt man, in his late 20’s, with dark hair. He was here during medieval/Norman time; he wore a leather apron and wasa blacksmith.  At this point someoneappeared to tap Desmond on the shoulder. Jayne said that Sedgerick had comewith the army; he was not from here ( Norfolk)but from Somerset.  He had moved up along the coast.  Tracey was being given Royal Regiment and wasbeing shown a red flag with lions on it, which was cream in colour. He woreboots.  He had finally died from smallpox in 1326 and in his final days he had been looked after by monks.

We walked back along thepath which now took us to an entrance which left the field.  This had a sign of a castle on it and as wewalked through the gate Duggie was given the words “You are not welcome here, you did not ask to come through the gate.”

Duggie was picking up on acollection of women; it seemed to be that there was a group of women near theentrance gate and also at the far side of the field opposite.  The two groups of woman were calling out toeach other.  A whistle sound was heard.  As Duggie and Benny walked over to the farside of the field they were picking up on how the energy felt here.  Duggie saw 3 women standing in a trianglelooking at him.  They were very uneasywith what was happening and cautious, although Duggie felt very comfortablewith them.  Benny described it as a heavyfeeling around him.   When the rest ofthe group join them, they also agreed that the change was evident in this area.  Jayne said that the 3 women werewitches.  It was felt by Tracey thatthere would have been a circle on the ground. This circle was one of protection and salt or such like would have beenplace all around the outside of this circle with no breaks.  The women would sit inside the circle.  Both Jayne and Tracey heard a male moan.  Talking could still be heard by the entrancegate.  Jayne was now experiencing anun-comfortable ache between her shoulder blade. Neil was picking up on a young child and her mother.  He felt that there was sadness connected withthis woman.  Burials and bodies were alsobeing picked up by Neil.  Just at thatpoint Benny complained of his hair standing up at the back of his neck.

We then all in pairs walkedunder the old railway line into the next field, this was an eerie feeling, everyone experiencing something different.

We then walked back the waywe had come and as we got half way across the field the emf bleeped and died.  The video camera also died as well.  Desmond was aware of a person in armyclothing standing beside him at the gate who appeared to be Spanish.  Duggie noticed a sweet smell, which Jaynecould also confirm.  Once the camera andEMF were sorted we continued to the gate.

Tracey who was last, keptlooking round as her heart was racing and she felt very un-comfortable.  As she walked through the gate a sound like acough was heard very clearly which really made her jump.

We walked out of the firstfield with no further incidents back to the car.  We then walked down the lizard alley and backagain.  Although on occasions we did pickup on a misty veil like substance which Neil kept feeling, there were nofurther incidents to record.

We ended the investigationat midnight.
