St
Mary's Church, Houghton On the hill.
2nd
December 2005
Weather:
Windy/Cold
Investigators
– Duggie, Lee, Clive, George, Jane, Benny, Tracey, Jill, Wendy, Lucy &
Simon.
Outside Area.
There
was a feeling of energy including a sickly feeling which a few members
felt. Some investigators felt as though they were rooted to the ground
and unable to move. There was the energy of a small boy, about 7 years
old. He seemed to feel secure playing on the wall but it was felt that he
had probably slipped and fell to his death. This was where the original
village was. A 14th century monk dressed in a long habit like
outfit, tall and rounded in size. Some members felt tingling around their
arms on the left side. The name Sam or Samuel was given. It was
felt that there should have been a building on the other side of the wooded
area, a common place for people to sell their wears. It was later found
out that this was were the village originally was. There was a feeling of
somebody being lost. A Victorian woman was picked up swinging on a swing.
Reading taken
of 5.3 and –2.3.
There
were working men doing building work felt along the edge of the wood.
There was a male energy felt wandering up and down the lane, who didn’t seem to
want to go into the boundaries of the church. Nasty words felt from a
female energy, almost trying to intimidate the investigator. Mild buzzing
was felt on the shoulders and tingling on the head. It seemed warmer in
one corner outside. Another reading was taken in this different area
outside of -9. A silhouette of a figure was seen next to Dug. There
was a feeling of being very cold.
Dug
went outside with Clive and saw 3 spirits. He then radioed inside
to investigators to see if they could see anyone standing outside through the
window and they said they could see 3 figures, one of these was Dug, the other
two were believed to be two of the spirits Dug had seen.
An
investigator felt like their throat was being constricted. A female
energy was felt and it was felt that she had been cut from her upper chest to
her lower stomach. There was an extremely tall man felt, a gentle person,
but hard too, it was felt he walked and probably watched over the church and
grounds.
One
of the investigators was shown an occult circle brazened on the grass as it
would have looked then.
Tower First Floor level
One
of the investigators felt a ticking feeling on their forehead. A man of
54 was sensed, believed to be hanged as he gave the investigator images of a
long rope, and he could be heard to be yelling for a long time. There was
a sick feeling felt by three people. An energy of a Man kneeling was
picked up, in front of the cross praying and crossing himself, like it was his
last chance to do so before something happened.
Musty
smell was smelt by several, a difficult smell to distinguish. Standing at
this level, it was felt that the bell had played a major part in warning people
of things happening, but the bell was by far smaller than the one now, it also
may not have hung in the way it does now. It was felt that a door would
have been at this level.
Tower
Second Floor level
A
Reading taken of
11.3. There was a feeling of being watched and a fragrance like TCP
smelt. A breeze was felt inside the room and yet the air was still.
Alter
Two
investigators who were standing in the alter area felt that they should not be
there. George was shaking all over and short of breath. It was felt
that there was an undiscovered secret. A male energy was sensed at the
alter, believed to be a past rector with a bald head who was tall and
skinny. There was a feeling of being pushed down to their knees and a
feeling of doing something disrespectful – the feeling that you should come
into the church and say a brief prayer as you enter.
Main
part of church.
A
man was seen and felt standing at the back of investigator Lee. A smell
of flowers or tobacco was picked up. A reading was taken of 6.5. It
was very cold around the legs of investigators sitting in the church, a
temperature reading 7.5 near legs and Body temperature of 19. A male
energy felt of the very tall gentleman again who protects the grounds and
building.

We arrived at St Marys Church about 8pm, on

has also played a major part in bringing this beautiful church from a derelect
to a workable church. New members joined
us tonight, So introductions done we began our investigation.
It was decided with
