Baconsthorpe Castle

The Gatehouse.

This area gave rise to some batteries draining a camera and a video recorder started to drain the battery too.  On checking these, both appeared to be fine and in normal working order.  The energy of a young female was picked up in this room and one of the investigaters was given a feeling of being emotional.  They were also drawn to the first floor of the building.  The feeling of saddness never left the investigater throughout the evening and they found that throughout the evening they felt the need to look at the building wherever they were.  Other group members also picked up the feeling of a young person.

Path to the castle & Bridge.

No-one reported feeling or seeing anything whilst walking along the path to the castle or on the bridge.

Moat.

Takis felt unsafe and that he was being watched.  He was also given a that warning that we should not go to the gatehouse.

Small room left.

There was an energy of a man who was very strong.  The outfit that he wore had something like an emblem or eagle or something similar on it.  He wore black with the gold.  He was watching over the castle and it was felt that he could sometimes cause mischief and the feeling that he was watching you and making you feel unwanted.  Takis also experienced a taste of blood in his mouth.  A trigger object experiment was set up, which was left for approximately 1 hour with a video recorder taping it.  We did catch movement on camera for this (see video clip at the top), when the trigger object moved.  After this experiment we took it in turns to stand in the middle of the room and a variety of things were felt by different members of the group, such as nausea, light headiness and the feeling of being pushed.  Takis also picked up on an argument which had happened between either 2 groups or 2 people, who had come to blows over a smartley dressed man from the 13th or 14th century.  A name sounding like John Eyedon was given to Takis.  Both Benny & Carl felt dizzy in this room  and everyone said that the feeling of the room was heavy.

A monk was picked up of humble means who stood quite stooped over.

Large Room.

This was a room where lots of people would gather to work and a lot of movement of energy was felt in this room, as if people were moving about quite a lot in order to move objects and work.
